MOTOGP FRANCE

The Grand Prix de France needs no introduction; this race is one of the highlights of the season, at a legendary circuit.

Le Grand Prix de France n'est plus à présenter ; cette course est l'un des temps forts de la saison, sur un circuit mythique.

LE MANS 24h/ 24h du MANS

One hundred years since the first 24 Hours of Le Mans. The eagerly awaited race, round 4 of the FIA World Endurance Championship, takes place on the weekend of 10-11 June 2023.  Such an anniversary calls for celebration, with an event to match the greatness of the race itself! Experience it and share it with your family and friends. 

Cent ans depuis les premières 24 Heures du Mans. La course tant attendue, la manche 4 du Championnat du Monde d'Endurance FIA, se déroule le week-end du 10-11 juin 2023. Un tel anniversaire appelle à la fête, avec un événement à la hauteur de la grandeur de la course elle-même ! Vivez-le et partagez-le avec votre famille et vos amis.

LE MANS CLASSIC 2023

Created in 2002 by Peter Auto, in association with the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, Le Mans Classic offers a formidable retrospective of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The event, acclaimed from its very first edition, has continued to grow and attracted over 195,000 spectators in 2018. It is the largest gathering of classic cars with 600 racing cars on the track and 8,500 classic cars displayed in the specially designed enclosures.




Créé en 2002 par Peter Auto, en association avec l’Automobile Club de l’Ouest, Le Mans Classic offre une formidable rétrospective des 24 Heures du Mans. La manifestation, qui avait été plébiscitée dès sa première édition, n’a cessé de grandir jusqu’à attirer 195.000 spectateurs en 2018. C’est le plus grand rassemblement de voitures anciennes avec 600 voitures de course en piste et 8.500 automobiles de collection dans l’enceinte générale spécialement aménagée.

2020 No more to be said!!!

2020 What a year! Thank you to all the lovely guests that stayed with us this season and to those of you who thought of us and sent us kind messages when we were closed. We are grateful to you all and really appreciate your continued support. Finally, a BIG thank you to the French Government who have bolstered the tourist industry during this difficult economic period.

We welcomed a lot of new guests fleeing from Spain at the beginning of the pandemic, unfortunately we were unable to remain open long enough to welcome everybody before we were locked down ourselves. We hope you all arrived home safely and will take the opportunity to visit us under better circumstances. We would love to meet you.

For those of you that postponed your vacation or event to 2021 or 2022, just drop us an email when you are ready, and we will amend your booking and send you an updated booking confirmation.

As usual the campsite will remain open over the winter with reduced facilities, welcoming guests mainly travelling to and from Spain. You must let us know you are coming as we only have a limited number of winter emplacements.

We are both looking forward to seeing you next year.

2019 Thank you

The 2019 season is drawing to an end.  We are grateful for another very successful season.  We very much appreciate meeting all the new customers visiting Camping Neuville for the first time,  we appreciate our returning customers who support us year on year and take an interest in the development of the site and we appreciate those of you that take the time to refer new clients and write reviews.   A massive thank you to each and every one of you, without your continued support we wouldn't have a future here in France in our little bubble of happiness.

Whatever happens with BREXIT we are here for the long term and will continue to improve the site for the enjoyment and comfort of our guests.

2018 Thank you

Thank you for your continued support. We have had a fantastic year even though it started very wet leading to extraordinary floods in June (see flood photos in gallery); followed by a hot dry summer.

 It was lovely meeting so many new guests and welcoming back so many familiar faces. The campsite is evolving and once again we thank you for taking such a positive interest in what we are doing. Again, a big big thank you to those of you who took the time to leave reviews.

Some of you may have noticed that we have changed the name of the site to ‘Camping Neuville’. We decided to change the name to reflect the strong affiliation we have with the village, Neuville-sur-Sarthe and to avoid confusion with other sites in France named Camping Le Vieux Moulin.

We will remain open over the winter to provide a safe haven for travellers heading south when the majority of campsites in Northern France remain closed.

We wish you all a very merry Christmas and happy New Year and look forward to welcoming you to our campsite in 2019.

Finally a big thank you to Becky who tirelessly ironed all the accommodation bedding and weeded the flower borders in July/August.  And of course Martyn’s parents who give up their time to help us each year and keep us stocked up with home cooked treats.

2017 Thank you

We would like to thank all our 2017 guests for their support during our first season. We have met some really lovely people from all walks of life from as far afield as South Africa and Australia. We have been blown away by the interest and encouragement we have received from so many of you and hope that you will return in the future to see the progress we have made. At the end of the season we will sit down and reflect on what went well and what we need to improve on. We already have an extensive plan of work that we want to complete before we open next year.

An extra big thank you to those of you that took the time to write a review and post photographs. We are already benefiting with an increase in enquiries from your recommendations. Our only fear is that your excellent reviews will raise expectations.

We frequently struggled to find a French campsite open outside of June, July and August.  With this in mind we will open from all year and will continue to do this for at least 3 years to ascertain demand.
