How these terms and conditions
apply to our contract.
1.1. We
consider these terms and conditions (the “Terms”) and our prices to set out the
entire agreement between you and us for the supply of our services to you. Only these terms shall apply to our contract
with you.
1.2. Please
check that the details in these terms and conditions and your booking request
are complete and accurate before you commit yourself to the contract.
1.3. Please
ensure that you read and understand these terms before you submit your booking request.
You may only request a booking if you
agree to these terms. By submitting a booking
request, you are deemed to have accepted these terms. This does not affect your statutory rights as
a consumer.
1.4. Camping
Neuville (SARL HL) (referred to as “Camping Neuville/we/our/us”) sells camping
and glamping holidays via www.campingneuville.com (the “Website”), via the
phone, via email requests, via postal requests and takes bookings direct at
Camping Neuville campsite (the “Site”). Any
person wishing to make a booking via any of these methods (referred to as “you/your”)
acknowledges that such booking is made subject to these terms.
1.5. We
reserve the right to change these terms at any time. Any such changes will take effect immediately
when posted on the website, in marketing material, at the site, or otherwise
brought to your attention. It is your
responsibility to read the terms each time you submit a booking request, and
any such request shall signify that you have accepted to be bound by the latest
set of terms. A copy of the latest set
of terms is available on the website and upon request.
2.
Making a Booking
2.1. You
can either book on-line, by email or in person. Please have details of all-party members when
making a booking. Please check your
confirmation as Camping Neuville cannot be held responsible for errors in
information provided at the time of booking.
2.2. Bookings
are not transferable to another party.
2.3. When
making a booking you agree that you or at least one member of your party is
eighteen years or over, you have the authority of all persons in your party to
book on their behalf, you accept these terms and conditions, and you agree to
be responsible for any loss or damage caused by any member of your party or
animal accompanying you.
2.4.The site is for recreational
camping only.
3.
Prices
3.1.
The prices advertised are accurate at the time
of booking. Prices can move up or down
and Camping Neuville reserves the right to do so. Customers are advised to check the website for
the most up to date information including our latest promotions, deals and
discounts. Although prices may vary from
time-to-time, the price payable is the price confirmed at the time of booking.
3.2.
The prices are based on a daily rate unless
otherwise stated. Prices include VAT at the
current prevailing rate.
3.3.
Tourist tax (taxe de séjour) is allocated to
the development of tourism in the local area. Each person aged 18 or over is required to pay
0.25€ per night’s holiday. Persons
living in Department 72 Sarthe or working in the area do not have to pay
tourist tax. The money collected is paid
in full to Communauté de Communes Maine Cœur de Sarthe.
3.4.
Prices do not include any additional services,
features and facilities unless expressly stated.
3.5.
Emplacements prices are for the emplacement
only. Adults and children can be added
to your booking up to a maximum of six. Children
under two years old stay for free, however they do count as part of the party
for all other purposes. For parties
larger than six people, multiple emplacements must be booked.
3.6.
Promotions, deals, or discounted offers are
provided at the discretion of Camping Neuville.
All offers are subject to availability, cannot be used in conjunction
with any other offer or discount and may be withdrawn at any time.
Retrospective refunds are not permitted against any offer or promotion
advertised after such time a booking is made.
3.7.
Emplacement Extras - The main unit and all
emplacement extras such as awnings, pup tents and gazebos must fit within the
boundary of the emplacement booked. If
the unit and all extras exceed the emplacements boundary an additional
emplacement must be paid for.
4.
Payment
4.1.
For bookings of two nights or less the full cost of
the booking is payable at the time of booking. For stays greater than 2 nights 30%
of the total cost of the booking is payable at the time of booking with a
minimum payment of 100€ due. If the booking value is less than 100€ full
payment is due at the time of booking. The balance is payable on arrival.
4.2.
We accept Cash, Credit and Debit Cards (except for
American Express Cards), Bank Transfers and Chèque-Vacances
4.3.
The price of your unit and additional extras
and services is as detailed at time of booking on our web site.
4.4.
Camping Emplacement
4.5.
A standard emplacement is a grass area
demarcated by natural boundaries. Due to
the nature of the site, emplacement dimensions vary from emplacement to
emplacement. If you have a particularly
large unit please advise at time of booking.
16-amp electric will be available on the emplacement with water nearby. During the winter months when services will be
reduced, water will be located centrally.
5.
Chalets
5.1.
The 3 berth accommodates 3 persons in a double
bed and one single bed. The 4 berth
accommodates 4 persons in a double bed and a bunkbed. The beds will be made up with crisp white
cotton bedding goose down pillows, with hypo-allergenic options available on
request. Each chalet is equipped with a
cooking stove with gas, fridge, picnic table and chairs with parasol, crockery,
and cooking essentials.
6.
Electricity
6.1.
Camping emplacements fitted with electrical
hook-up points are reserved for customers wishing to purchase electricity. 16-amp is supplied using a female 3 pin
ceeform socket. You will need a male
adapter to connect to the supply.
6.2.
Customers who choose not to purchase
electricity are not permitted to consume electricity apart from personal
hygiene equipment in the washroom e.g., hairdryers and shavers. Mobile phone, GPS and battery pack charging
can be arranged for a small fee at Reception.
The freezing of ice packs is available at Reception.
6.3.
The use of a washing machine, tumble dryer or
charging your vehicle is forbidden.
7.
Cancellation and changes to
your booking
7.1.
The
legal provisions relating to the right of withdrawal in the case of distance
selling as set out in the Consumer Code do not apply to tourist services
(article L.121-20-4 of the Consumer Code). Thus, for any order for a stay on an
emplacement or in a chalet, the customer does not benefit from any right of
withdrawal. Customers are advised to
take out their own travel/holiday insurance at the time of booking.
7.2.
If you leave site early for any reason Camping
Neuville will not issue any refund for unused camping nights.
7.3.
Unfortunately, in some circumstances Camping
Neuville may have to cancel your booking. In these circumstances we will offer
you a full refund of any fees paid. No
other compensation is available.
7.4.
If you want to amend your booking, you must notify
Camping Neuville as soon as possible. Subject
to availability, amendments to your booking can be made up to three days before
your arrival at the Site. Amendments to
bookings are subject to availability. If you wish to transfer your booking to
another date, we will endeavour to satisfy your request wherever possible
subject to availability and payment of the correct fees.
8.
Arrival and Departure
8.1.
Before moving onto your emplacement or into
your accommodation it is important that you report to Reception on arrival. You will need a photo driving license,
identity card or passport and a method of payment if there are outstanding fees
to pay.
8.2.
Please note that car traffic is prohibited from
23:00. to 07:00 on the campsite premises.
Vehicles can be left in the carpark outside the entrance.
8.3.
Camping emplacements - Arrivals are from 11:00
and departures from the campsite premises before 10:00.
8.4.
Chalets - Arrivals are from 14:00 and
departures before 10H. Any delay in
departing will be invoiced one extra night.
9.
Extending your stay
9.1.
If you wish to extend your stay requests must
be made at least 24 hours before original departure date.
10.
Visitors
10.1.
Camping Neuville are happy to welcome up to
four visitors per emplacements per day.
Should you wish to have visitors you must ask the site owner’s
permission and it is at their discretion although permission will not be
unreasonably withheld. A fee is payable for each visitor subject to the nature
of visit and duration. Visitor cars are
to be parked in the car parking area outside the campsite entrance.
10.2.
It is essential, for security and health and
safety, that visitors report to the reception on arrival. Entry to the site will be at the owner’s
discretion. Visitors are required to
leave the site by 22:30 hrs.
11.
Behaviour on site
11.1.
As the person booking the holiday, you are
responsible for the behaviour of all members of the party whilst on the site. Any wilful damage to the site or any other
Camping Neuville property or other guest’s property will result in you being
asked to immediately leave the site. If
you are asked to leave under these circumstances, no monies will be refunded.
11.2.
Our customers visit our site to enjoy the peace
and tranquillity. If anyone does not
respect this, the owner’s reserve the right to refuse them admission or ask
them to leave the site at any time. If
you are asked to leave under these circumstances, no monies will be refunded.
11.3.
To respect the enjoyment of others, we ask that
noise levels are kept to a minimum after 22:30 hrs. No music is allowed on site after 22:30 hrs.
11.4.
Gas BBQs are allowed, providing they are raised
off the ground. BBQs must be
extinguished by 22:30 hrs. Charcoal
BBQs, open fires and fire pits are prohibited. No structures can be tied or secured to trees
or vegetation including washing lines, swings and hammocks. Any structures that are or are judged to be
causing damage to the site will be taken down or removed. The owners reserve the right to do so without
prior consent and wholly at their discretion.
11.5.
Dogs are welcome at Camping Neuville. Whilst on site dogs must be always kept on a
lead and any fouling must be collected and disposed of. Dogs must be exercised off site and are not
permitted to venture in the no dog area.
A maximum of three dogs per emplacement are permitted onsite unless
otherwise agreed with the owners. If
there is an incident onsite involving your dog, you may be asked to leave the
site immediately, no monies will be refunded.
11.6.
Electric heaters and air conditioning units
should be operated in an environmentally friendly and responsible manner. When in use close all windows and doors and
switch off the electric heater or air conditioning unit when you leave your
accommodation. For the comfort of all our
guests you are not permitted to use air conditioning units after 22:30
hrs. The use of petrol/diesel generators
are forbidden.
12.
Complaints
12.1.
We want you to have an enjoyable stay. Should you have cause for complaint, please
contact the owners immediately who will try to resolve your complaint.
12.2.
We ask you to note that if you do not give us
the opportunity to resolve the problem by reporting it onsite, we may not be
able to deal with any complaint on your return and your rights to claim may
have been reduced or forfeited.
12.3.
If, at the end of your stay
with us, you feel we have not dealt with your complaint satisfactorily, we ask
that you submit a written complaint within 7 days of your departure to: Camping

13.
Liability
13.1.
The Camping Neuville is not liable for any
damages to the customer’s vehicles or equipment. Customers must have subscribed to vehicle
insurance and civil liability insurance for their equipment (FFCC, ANWB, ADAC,
etc.). The campsite is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage of any kind
during or after your stay.
13.2.
Camping Neuville do not accept responsibility
for anything that adversely affects your holiday that is outside of our
control. These circumstances are known
as ‘Force Majeure’ events and are circumstances that Camping Neuville could
not, even with due care, have foreseen or avoided. Such circumstances include (but are not
limited to) war, civil unrest, industrial action, terrorist activity, natural
disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, pandemic, foot and mouth disease
and all other similar events outside of our control. Camping Neuville will endeavour to manage any
problems caused as a result of a Force Majeure event but shall be under no
obligation to do so and shall not be liable to you for any losses caused by a
Force Majeure event.
13.3.
Reference to any products, services or other
information belonging to third parties does not imply or constitute an
endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation by Camping Neuville. Links to other services not operated by
Camping Neuville are provided solely for your convenience. Camping Neuville accepts no liability for any
products services or other information provided by third parties.
14.
Other Important Information
14.1.
Any photographs, descriptions or advertising we
issue, and any descriptions or illustrations contained in our catalogue, or
brochures or on our website, are issued or published solely to provide you with
an approximate idea of our site and services. They do not form part of the contract between
you and us.
14.2.
If any court or competent authority decides
that any of the provisions of these terms are invalid, unlawful or
unenforceable to any extent, the Term will, to that extent only, be severed
from the remaining terms, which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent
permitted by law.
14.3.
A person who is not party to these terms shall
not have any rights under or in connection with them under the contracts.
14.4.
You may not transfer any of your rights or
obligations under these terms to another person without our prior written
consent, which we will not withhold unreasonably. We can transfer all or any of our rights and
obligations under these terms to another organisation, but this will not affect
your rights under these terms.
