Our Campsite

'Relaxed rural retreat, where you can take a deep breath, rest and unwind'

 

The site is set alongside the River Sarthe in 5 hectares/12 acres of ground providing plenty of space and privacy for everyone.  The campsite is licensed for 100 emplacements, although only 50% have been renovated and serviced with electric and water at present.  The site is equipped with a 10 x 5 m heated swimming pool to cool off in on those hot summer days with plenty of room to sunbathe and relax in the warmth of the sun surrounded by trees and flowers.

Campsite Plan

Camping Neuville formerly known as Camping Le Vieux Moulin was established in the 1960's. The site is owned now by the Humphries' family who relocated in October 2016 to France from the UK in pursuit of a better quality of life. The site is located 10 km/6 miles north of historic town of Le Mans in Neuville-sur-Sarthe.

 

Facilities

The sanitary block is fitted with modern showers, washbasins and washing up facilities. Each emplacement is serviced with 16A electric with fresh drinking water and grey/black waste nearby.

 

Campsite Grounds
The campsite grounds are planted to provide guests with privacy and to provide a diverse environment that protects and nurtures nature.
 

Swimming Pool

Relax in our heated swimming pool.  
 

River Sarthe

There is river access immediately outside the entrance to the campsite, offering an additional relaxing space for our guests to enjoy.
 

Resident Pets

The campsite is home to a number of pets.  Many have been rescued.
 

Site History

The campsite was established in 60's and has had three previous owners before we purchased the site in Oct 2016.  We have managed to get our hands on some old photos.
 

WIFI

We have all come to rely on the ability to connect to the internet wherever we are and whenever we please. At Camping Neuville you can connect to our guest WiFi around the reception area and on some of the emplacements. Due to the trees, service can be variable depending on where you are sited in relation to the WiFi access points. Please let us know if WiFi is essential to you at time of booking and we will endeavor to site you where coverage is best. WiFi access is free and subject to our acceptable use policy
