Back to the new norm.
Post COVID, business was still affected by travel restrictions. Nonetheless the guests we did receive tended to stay longer as they did not want to risk going to the bigger commercial sites
COVID - Say no more...
Campsite building some momentum, many guest returning which is encouraging.
Really hot summer, second great year. First Le Mans Classic.
We purchased the campsite on 5th October 2016. The site had been closed for about 9 years and unloved for many more. 2017 was our first year. We had no idea whether we would have any paying guests. We opened on 1st June, at the end of May all the roads around the campsite were still dug up after the laying the new electric and water pipes, and there was mud everywhere. We had worked non-stop to get to this point, and there was still so much to do.
We have welcomed many pets to our campsite over the years , mainly dogs. Here are a selection of some of the lovely pets we have photographed.
