Sanitary Facilities

Hot Water

The showers, washbasins and washing up sinks are supplied with hot water. During quiet times or if you are the first one to use the water, the hot water may need running for a couple of minutes as it travels from the hot water boiler.  There should ALWAYS be hot water, if the water is not hot then please let us know immediately.
The temperature in the showers is pre-set. We adjust the temperature in accordance with the ambient temperature. We don’t always get it right, again let us know if the temperature is too cold/hot.

Water

The site is serviced by mains supplied water,  which is safe to drink.  Standpipes are located around the site. 

  •  Ensure taps are turned off fully after use. 
  • Use water responsibly, only fill what you need for your stay. 
  • Water is metered and very expensive. 
  • Camping-cars can replenish their water at the camping car service point opposite the sanitaire.
  • Only use the tap in the chemical waste disposal point to rinse out your toilet cartridges as all other taps are reserved for drinking water.

Waste Disposal

Washing water (Grey) - dispose in the drain in the camping car service area in front of sanitaire.
Chemical waste (Black) - dispose in the chemical waste disposal point at the rear of the sanitary block next to the urinals. Use the tap provided to rinse cassette.

Located near their fuel station in small self contained units.

Example of cost: Wash 6kg - €4:00 14kg - €7.00 20kg - €10:00 Drying 14mins - €2.50We have found the quality of the wash and drier to be better at the Auchan Laundrette.

Due to low demand there are no washing machines on site.
