We are so fortunate to have access to the river directly outside the campsite. There is a large grass bank for lounging, picnic tables and benches. Many of our guests take their portable BBQ down to the river's edge and make an evening of it.
During the summer the water depth varies from adult ankle to knee height around the mill and waist height if you venture down stream. The river is home to many fish, kingfishers, herons and beautiful black dragonflies tinged with metallic blue.
